My name is Vlad, I am Romanian, and I am interested in sociology, politics, economics, computers, architecture, and psychology. This website is where I post absolutely everything I made and thought was a good idea to publish: simple, local web programs from 2023 to present, and everything I wrote and generated that I felt deserved to be seen. I keep maintaining it because it's a controlled collection of everything that I do, and I consider my own works to be precious. I archive everything I wrote, including my earlier works when I was younger, which can be considered to be rather of a shameful quality.

Writing Process

When thinking about a story, I usually think about an idea, a spark, or something to critique. I usually like satire, political satire especially. I find gaps in the thinking of the original authors or worlds I am inspiring from, usually very good or acclaimed authors, and insert my perspectives without actually planning how to insert it. Sometimes I, the author, am a character in the story, and other times I include obsessive references to what sparks I have in the moment, like the assembly language, corruption or love. My ideas flow quickly in time, and the dialogue evolves from something little, guarded, into something big and confident, although not always. I like including references in my stories so I can teach the readers what I have learned on the internet and in real life. I have no plan, every single story I made was written organically.

AI Usage

Transparency Disclosure: AI has been involved more or less in generating the vast majority of the content of this website.

I use AI a lot to help debug code, automate more recent personal projects I simply couldn't have written all by myself, and aid in role-playing and writing dialogue by simulating other characters. Without AI, I couldn't have created all those collages and "immersive" realities. AI also helps me generate some scenes or atmosphere, fictional pieces of code, and plan the next chapters, what to write about, although AI's suggestions are most of the time not applied in full because I start diverging from it.

Any LLM that I use is under strict supervision. I execute many prompt regenerations and preemptively attempt to reduce the model's error rate, although recently, the number of regenerations I had to do to improve the initial outputs reduced drastically in the past few months in 2026. What the LLM usually does is to act like a character, roleplay as if I'm another character in the story and react to the environmental changes I envision. After AI generates the output and I append the output to my workspace, I try to thoroughly review the output to do mostly stylistic changes to better align the text with my voice or correct some previous mistakes.

Licensing and Transparency

I am fully transparent about the edits I make after I publish an initially incomplete story or program. I usually license my software under the MIT License, every story and article I made on "text-files" is licensed under CC BY SA, and my earlier political articles on "posts" are licensed under CC0 because at the time I thought that using LLMs completely removes qualification for copyright. Although my belief has changed, my political essays are still in public domain. I don't change Gitlab's default commit comments, but you can review what I have committed specifically by checking the logs.

Personal Description

I'll try to describe myself, who I am personally, without using any artificial intelligence.

I have been through a difficult circumstance. I couldn't speak until five. This significantly reduced my social abilities from the get-go and the therapy I have been in (ABA) has primarily focused on the development of an intellect for language acquisition. There was also the possibility that late speech gave me a more intellectual and less social base to start with, unrelated to the therapy.

So, I ended up with a mind prepared for knowledge accumulation. And that's what I did in my childhood. I wasn't interested in socializing. I didn't have childhood friends. I had been focusing on exact sciences from videos first and then on whatever shifting passions came up.

The feeling of loneliness that I occasionally have right now came at 15. I managed to get a friend but then broke up, realizing that not even our approaches in psychology were compatible. I also did the mistake of not listening more to the other person.

I had some interactions with potential friends, where I felt understood but I had been blocked or whatever, so I was misunderstood again.

My feelings of alienation are complicated, but it's clear that my intellectual world has mostly been neutral to depressive all the time. I read more about negative than positive stuff. And then there are things that I would rather not read, such as Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" or Satrapi's "Persepolis".

I'm not actually lonely, I am fine. I will manage to find a close friend some time in the future. My father, who is a psychologist, told me that I am better off than many other typical people with or without friends at this age.

I recognize that I am being terse in this piece of writing. This is because for a long time I have trying to achieve the ideal of "being rational all the time" through hyper-intellectualization, which has become deeply ingrained in my way of thinking.
