Disclosure and supervision

What is published, and to whom the company answers

The disclosure condition reaches further than the reporting a trading house ordinarily makes. It covers the trade, the ownership, the labour and the ecological account, and the bodies entitled to the underlying documents need no consent to obtain them.

The ecological burden of proof

Where the conformity of the company's activity with the ecological budgets is in question, the company proves conformity. It cannot require the Republic to prove the contrary, and a doubt left unresolved is resolved against the company.

The practical effect is that measurement is the company's own expense and its own responsibility. Maasdelta contracts the measurement to a public establishment of the Republic and publishes the result regardless of the finding.

Labour at Lindoma

Eleven people are employed at the branch office, all engaged since July 2026: documentation, chartering, surveying liaison and the radiological records. They are employed on the conditions the Republic fixes for any employer in its territory, which include the working time limits, the rotation of arduous tasks and the exposure ceilings.

They have every right a resident has, and asserting those rights against this company does not diminish them. A complaint against the company goes to the Defender of Rights on the same terms as a complaint against any cooperative.

Disputes and jurisdiction

Every dispute arising from activity in the Republic is decided by the courts of the Republic under its law. Arbitration cannot be compelled by this company, by its counterparties, or by any treaty to which the Republic is party.

A protective measure taken by the Republic may be challenged on procedural regularity alone. The company has brought one such challenge, in August 2026, on the notice period for a change to the loading rules at Lindoma. It was dismissed.
