Dromera
Dromera is a town of 54,000 residents in the sub-region of Halvorum, in the Eastern Region of the Republic of Fluid. The smallest of the named towns, on the second closed frontier. The commune has brought Article 181 before the courts twice.
Setting
Dromera lies on the southern territory east of Sarnova, facing the same closed frontier. The soil is poor and the distances between settlements are long. Halvorum has the lowest population density in the Republic, 460,000 residents over 9,700 square kilometres.
History
Dromera lost a third of its people between 1939 and 1990. The frontier closure took its market, the embargo took its transit trade, and the Directorate set the district no output target. The decline stopped in the 1990s.
Work and provision
Upland farming, forestry, civil protection, and the border monitoring station. Territories whose geography, settlement pattern, inherited works or ecological burden put the general standard beyond the ordinary allocation receive an additional allocation sufficient to reach it, owed as of right under Article 181. Dromera's council has brought that Article before the courts twice.
Government
Elected communal council under Article 141(2). Most communes in the sub-region are governed by assembly in person under Article 141(1).
Historic and descriptive record maintained by the Office of Constitutional Revision. It is not law.
