What a declaration states
The contents are fixed for members of an oversight office: contributions under Article 70, the associations to which the member belongs, personal property under Article 74, and every interest capable of affecting the office. Declarations are made on taking office and annually thereafter. The corresponding provisions do the same for members of the Assembly, members of executive committees, judges and justices.
Every declaration is published in full. The Office verifies each one against the property record and publishes any inconsistency it finds.

Functions taken after leaving office
The Office verifies compliance with Article 152(6) and Article 203(5), which govern what a person may do after holding certain offices. One discrepancy of that kind has been published this year, and the function has ended.
A separate rule covers entry to the pools from which office holders are drawn. It disqualifies members of the Assembly, members of executive committees, delegates to planning bodies, officers of a party or a federation, members of the Ecological Budget Authority, members of the Judicial Council, and holders of a management organ of an enterprise, during office and for four years afterwards.
